Varese Pride Month 2025 is the tenth edition of Varese Pride, an inclusive, accessible and multidisciplinary festival that will take place from June 1 to July 2025. The initiative celebrates diversity, promotes LGBTQIA+ rights, and enhances memory, culture, and active participation on the ground.
The project is implemented in partnership with the City of Varese, as part of a close institutional collaboration that enhances Pride as a cultural, civic and shared event.
A month of widespread events
Pride Month 2025 will offer cultural, artistic and educational events throughout the city, culminating in the Varese Pride parade on July 19, 2025. The program will include exhibitions, performances, talks, workshops, family activities and social moments. Symbolic places in the city, cultural and commercial realities will be involved in a network of widespread collaborations.
Accessibility and inclusion
Varese Pride Month will be designed to ensure the participation of all people:
- LIS interpreting services for main events
- Dedicated service number
- Sensory discharge spaces for autistic and neurodivergent people
- Distribution of stim toys and earplugs
Varese Pride Festival
From June 6-8, 2025, the Varese Pride Festival, an opening event with performances, talks, educational activities and a full day dedicated to families, will be held at the Schiranna multipurpose space. Artistə and nationally prominent personalities will be present.
Historical memory and culture
On the occasion of the80th anniversary of the Liberation, there will be an exhibition on the homocaust, included in the official calendar of celebrations. The event will also address the history of LGBTQIA+ discrimination and activism through film, theater, photography and contemporary art.
Education and outreach
The program will include:
- Workshops for schools and teachers
- Roundtables with experts, activistə and psychologə
- Creative workshops and meetings for youth and families
