Arcigay Varese works every day to protect the rights of LGBTQIA+ people and against all forms of discrimination. Through counters, projects, awareness and advocacy activities, we defend the equality and dignity of all people.
Our efforts are translated into concrete interventions on the ground, legal and psychological support, public actions and institutional collaborations.
Rainbow Center - anti-discrimination desk
We run the Rainbow Center, a service that offers welcome, listening and guidance for those experiencing discrimination or violence based on sexual orientation, gender identity or personal characteristics.
The center registers about 200 accesses annually and receives an average of 5-10 requests for help per week, offering an integrated service with psychologə, advocateə and educatorə.

- ⚖️ Support for cases of discrimination experienced in the family, school, workplace, or health care setting
- 🧑🏫 Training for educatorə, teachers and operatorə on LGBTQIA+ skills and discrimination prevention
- 📚 Implementation of information materials for youth and families on gender identity and LGBTQIA+ rights.
- 🎤 Organizing public meetings and roundtables with advocatesə, psychologə, and institutional representatives
- 🫂 Accompaniment and orientation to public or specialized services in the area.
